ANNA JANSEN

Anna was born in 1956 in Holland. Her father was a wood sculptor who also had a gallery-garden where anyone was welcome to exhibit their art. Art, for Anna, is to play, invent, look, feel, live and above all enjoy. She started her higher studies at Apeldoorn at the “open” university. She then continued her studies at the University of Fine Arts in Rotterdam. Later, she began experimenting with paint and made a ceramic collaboration for a design store. She also taught painting classes in this same country. While in Spain she continued her need to learn from the artistic world with the artist Elena Haros in Dénia.Now she works in her own studio in Xaló, where she works with a mixture of techniques and continues her journey discovering time, colours and materials. Anna teaches art classes with the aim of opening, discovering and stimulating the creative minds of the very young.

BERNAT CAPÓ I GARCIA

Bernat Capó and Garcia (Benissa, Marina Alta February 29, 1928 – March 14, 2017). He was a Valencian writer and journalist. A man with an exemplary civic and humanist trajectory, he participated in many cultural enterprises, while collaborating with his writings to value the Valencià Country. As a writer, he became interested in popular culture (“Espigolant pel rostoll morisc”, 1980) (“Costumarivalencià”, 1992-94). He has been honoured in his town, which has named the Municipal Library after Bernat Capó. The publishing house Bullent created in 1999 the Bernat Capó Popular Culture Prize. The fragment collected from this mural is from “Espigolant pel rostoll morisc”.
